COVID protocols are changing frequently and without much notice. Currently, vaccination or recovery proof is not required. This could change if another variant or surge arises. We cannot guarantee that the mandate won't be reinstated by the time of tour. We will update you as we know more.

Here is the link for the Israel Ministry of Health which provides the requirements for Entry to Israel for non-Israeli citizens. Copy and paste this in your browser and check back frequently.

Israel has lifted their requirement to present a negative COVID test before boarding a flight to Israel. The mask mandate during international flights has also been lifted, but there are some airlines that still require them. The PCR testing mandate for those entering Israel at airports and land border crossings is not required either. No quarantine is needed.

Note that proof of a health insurance policy with coverage for the treatment of COVID-19 is required and mandatory to enter Israel.

You must complete an entry statement form in the 10 days before your flight Israel. (As part of the information, you will need to enter the name and address of the first hotel. We will provide you that information once that is finalized.)

When you submit this form, you will get a confirmation email with a bar code. Please make sure you print this out AND save it digitally so that you have a backup in case one method fails.

The CDC is still requiring air passengers traveling to the US to present a negative COVID test result or documentation of recovery before boarding the flight back home. Other countries require this as well. If you are flying out on the last day of the tour, our agent will assist everyone with getting the test booked. The cost of this test is not included in the price of the tour. The timing and type of test depends on the location of your home. If you test positive, you will not be allowed to board your flight. You will need to go into quarantine for a number of days.

As noted above, Israel requires every person to have insurance that will cover any COVID expenses.

Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the tour. Please purchase insurance to cover the cost of your flights and monies paid to Behold Israel should you have to cancel. Please reference the Cancellation Policy to review the amount that will be nonrefundable.

There will be a licensed tour guide on every bus. This guide will lead the group through the sites. Amir will teach at some of the sites, but due to time and space constraints, he will not be teaching at every site.

Sites are subject to change due to weather, traffic and availability.

Due to liability concerns, you may not participate in activities/tours operated by a different travel agency or led by another tour guide during the Behold Israel tour. If you want to see sites not listed on the Itinerary, allow a few extra days before or after the tour.

Please know that as a participant on the tour you will walk 3-5 miles per day.

You must be able to keep up with the group with minimal assistance.

Some of the sites have uneven steps, cobblestone streets, rocks or stone steps without railings, ramps, or other disability accommodations.

Please consider your physical and medical conditions that might prevent you from being able to keep up with the group as it is your responsibility to do so.
Currently, this Alumni tour is one bus. However, we are checking to see if we can enough hotel rooms to add another bus if the demand is there. Each bus has a maximum capacity of approximately 45 people. Please understand that there could be 90 participants on this tour if we do open another bus.
