PAYMENTS

  • Nonrefundable $1000 USD deposit / person due upon confirmation of application.
  • Second payment due March 9, 2023.

TOUR DOCUMENTS

  • Copy of valid passport due 14 weeks prior to travel, July 17, 2023.
  • Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the date of your trip.
  • Visa requirements vary by country. Visas are required for citizens from the US, Canada, and several other countries.
  • Copy of your visa and flight itinerary due August 25, 2023.
  • Book your flights to arrive by 5 pm on October 23, 2023, at the Istanbul Airport (IST). Depart from IST on the last day of the tour, October 31, 2023.
  • Transportation from IST to the hotel will be provided during the day on October 23rd. We will be staying at a hotel in Istanbul on October 30th, the last night of the tour. The bus will depart for the airport at 10 am on October 31st. If you arrive on a day other than the first day or depart outside this time frame, you will need to arrange your own transportation, such as a taxi.

PAYMENTS:
To reserve your spot on the tour please submit this registration form. Once you are accepted on the tour, instructions will be emailed to you for paying your $1000 USD (per person) non-refundable/non-transferable deposit. The Cancellation Policy is outlined in the Terms and Conditions below.

The second tour payment is due March 9, 2023. The final payment is due May 10, 2023. If payments are not received by the due dates, your spot on the tour is subject to cancellation.

If the tour is sold out, no payment will be collected and we will add your name to the waiting list. We will notify you if a space becomes available.

PASSPORT, VISA, FLIGHT ITINERARY
A copy of your passport will be due 14 weeks in advance, July 17, 2023. A copy of your Turkish visa, along with your international flight itinerary, will be due no later than August 25, 2023.

INSURANCE:
Travel and medical insurance are not included in the cost of the tour. Please purchase your own insurance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Since this is a unique tour going to a country other than Israel, we will not assume any responsibility for matching up roommates. If you are traveling alone, you need to either register for a Single Room or find your own roommate and register for a Double Room.
If onerous travel restrictions or other situations require us to cancel a tour, we will refund monies that you have paid Behold Israel.

We ask that you purchase travel insurance from a company of your choosing, as we will follow the policy outlined below if you cancel for any other reason:

Deposit: Nonrefundable

Cancellations through March 16th, 30% of total cost nonrefundable.

Cancellations March 17 through May 17, 70% of tour cost will be non-refundable.

Cancellations after May 17: No refund.
Currently, Turkey has no travel restrictions related to COVID in place. We will update you if that changes.
Neither travel nor health insurance are included in the cost of the tour. Please purchase insurance to cover the cost of your flights and monies paid to Behold Israel should you have to cancel and to cover any medical costs you may incur.

Please reference the Cancellation Policy to review the amount that will be nonrefundable.

By acknowledging this, you are agreeing to purchase insurance and to be responsible for any issues or costs that arise.
The tour will be led by an English-speaking Turkish guide. Amir plans to be on the tour and will teach at some of the sites when allowable.

Participants must be 13 years of age to participate in the tour.

Sites are subject to change due to weather, traffic and availability.

Due to liability concerns, you may not participate in activities/tours operated by a different travel agency or led by another tour guide during the Behold Israel tour. If you want to see sites not listed on the Itinerary, allow a few extra days before or after the tour.
Please know that as a participant on the tour you will WALK 3-5 MILES PER DAY and we will be getting on and off the bus multiple times each day.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP WITH MINIMAL ASSISTANCE.

Some of the sites have uneven steps, cobblestone streets, rocks, or stone steps without railings, ramps, or other disability accommodations.

Please consider your physical and medical conditions that might prevent you from being able to keep up with the group as IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DO SO.
Travel visas are required for citizens of many countries (including the US and Canada) to enter Turkey. You are responsible for obtaining your own visa which can be done online for citizens of most countries. The cost varies by country. Currently, travel visas are valid for 180 days for a maximum stay of 90 days. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 180 days from the date of your arrival in Turkey.
